Pricing

At Samson Handy Man Services we like to keep things simple.

We offer our services on an hourly basis as we believe this makes pricing more quantifiable for the client.

Pros are rarely upfront about costs, but we are different...

​

We charge £30 for the first hour

and then £10 for every half hour there after.​

(It's worth noting that the average Handy Man rate is £30 per hour

with the first hour being charged at £40-50)

A little tip! If you are looking at hiring a handy man it's always worth having a couple of backup jobs for them just in case the initial task takes less than an hour.

You want to get your moneys worth. Right!

​

A lot of professionals will charge a flat fee for a particular job.  There is of course nothing wrong with that, but there is no way of knowing if that price is genuinely tailored to the exact work you need carrying out.​​

Payment options

We offer a range of payment options

  • Cash 

  • Bank Transfer

  • Debit/credit card (Plus Processing fee 1.9%)

  • PALPAL 'Pay in 3' (Plus processing fee 2.9%)

Additional processing fees are charged by the merchants.

UK Pricing -  UK average 

TV Mounting

You can expect to pay between £50 - £80

to have your TV.  This will depend on it's size.

Above price is for service only and does not include the cost of the bracket.

Laminate Flooring

  • Fitting cost Per m² £20

  • Fitting cost Per day £270

  • Fitting cost Per room  £360

  • Underlay Per m² £7.50

Painting & Decorating

  • Ceiling/walls  - £15 per square meter

  • Wall papering - £14 per meter (labour)

  • Radiator - £15

  • Door (both sides) - £90

  • Painting med. sized room - £400

Tiling

Flat Pack Assembly

The average cost of assembly is £70 and will take 1-3 hours to complete.

Total price will depend on the item.

A chest of drawers may take 1-2 hours so expect to pay approx. £40 - £60

Kitchen Fitting
